There was a formal opening of snowboarding sport school on skiing base “Krasnaya sopka” in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Future champions will be trained by 5 coaches, including Dmitriy Bazanov, an international class master of snowboarding, the winner of the Junior World Championship.
Children can get training from the age of 8.
The school was opened thanks to additional federal grants, which Kamchatka got for successful social-economic development in 2015. By the Governor Vladimir Iluhin’s decision, the money was gone for the account of winter sports development.
